I’ve never kept an English blog for too long. All previous blogs were not interesting enough for me to continue. I hope this one will stick, though.
There are plenty of topics I could write about. From personal development to self-knowledge and spirituality, to creating Udemy courses and properly setting up your mic to create crisp and yummy-sounding recordings.
I could create some kind of tutorials or PDF guides. Anything is possible from where I stand now. I’m not very clear on what I’d like to do with this site, but I’m enjoying the process of discovering and clarifying I’m going through right now.
Maybe I just want give it a good use, since I’m already paying my hosting provider for it. The hosting provider does a very good job (Hostico.ro). I’ve used them in the past, with other projects and, as before, I’m very happy with their service.
I could record my voice reading stuff and post the recordings here. People say my voice is good for podcasting. Is it still good? I’m not sure, I haven’t received that many appreciations for my voice lately.
Now I’m learning new stuff, like editing videos with Premiere Pro. The program doesn’t seem too complicated and it definitely works faster than Camtasia. I’ve used Camtasia to edit my videos in the past and I’ve become quite proficient at it. But the software boggles down to a halt when the videos I’m trying to edit are too long. I like Premiere Pro so far. It edits fast, export speeds are reasonably good and it’s very responsive compared to Camtasia.
I’m not sure what this site will be about. I guess I’ve already said that. I’ve been watching this guy on YouTube lately, his channel name is struthless. I like his ideas. He’s using Journaling as a tool to overcome anxiety and to give a direction to his own life. His videos are created in a funny style. He’s from Australia. He’s smart, I can relate to him.
Hmm, what can I say? Not sure what to begin with. I guess this first post is some sorts of clarity-inducing beginning of sorts. Here I am, in a coffee shop, writing my thoughts away.
I could care about how Google will index this first post and try to include as many SEO-friendly keywords in here. But it’s too soon for that. This will definitely come in later, at a point, though. But I guess it’s too soon right now.
I think I have my first intention, though. Using the Law Of Attraction! Hurrah! My first intention with this site is to give it a direction to focus on. You know, just to point the arrow some way.
Writing focuses me. It gives me direction. I feel good writing. I write a lot. On the laptop. In my notebooks. Oh, I have quite a few of them (notebooks). I have a lot of paper notebooks, actually. A box of them. Plus the ones up in the closet.
When I don’t bring any notebook with me, I still find a piece of paper to write something on. I always have a pen with me. It’s part of who I am now. I’ve always enjoyed writing.
I wish to give the following articles a style, a structure, to add some kind of personal flair to my writing style. Oh, also don’t worry about the name – Reality Frameworks. It’s not about virtual reality and stuff. It’s more about creating (or exploring) our own personal realities, actually. Personal Reality Frameworks, it should be called.
Yes, that’s it – Personal Reality Frameworks.
I hope the VR guys won’t get upset that I’ve borrowed one of their terms. But if they do get upset, I’m sure they’ll get over it.
I told you I like writing.
Oh yes, and I have a cat. I haven’t seen her in quite a while. It’s complicated. It would be nice to visit her in the following days. She’s quite charming, quite fluffy she is, yes.
I am currently cat-free.
I promise, my writing will get better. I just need to practice a bit, to find some clarity, focus and direction. Gary V says to document everything you do. So, consider this my first step with documenting my process(es).
I think I need to find a new theme for this site. Definitely, I need a new one, I don’t like how this first post shows up in preview. Here I go to find a new theme for this site. Stay tuned.
I also have a private blog where I write my private thoughts. I have quite a lot of articles in there (around 180+). I could turn of of those articles into a full-fledged one on this new site. That’s an idea I could go for.
I turned that private blog into its own Obsidian Vault.
Another idea would be to create a new YouTube channel in English where I post content and to cross-traffic with this site and vice versa. If I’m going to keep posting on this site, I also want to make it financially successful. This means that at least it pays for it’s expenses, which, at the time of this writing, are around 40€ / year.
Some ideas for financial sustainability are:
- Money from ads on that YouTube channel
- Affiliate links from this site
- Ko-Fi Donations
- Digital Product Sales on Gumroad
What are the opportunities for growth I would like to say yes to through this website?
- Sharpening my English writing skills
- Copywriting – becoming good at writing text that catches the eye and keeps you, the reader – interested
I welcome good focus into my life.
Let’s begin!
