Welcome to a No Rest For The Wicked secret!
There is a hidden way to access the burning area in Namless Pass (No Rest For The Wicked), long before the Faith and Flame main story line quest.

From here, you can unlock the bridge connecting the elevators area and also the stairs above the cave exit in Nameless Pass.
Alternatively, here’s the step by step guide:
1) Find this bridge above the area
2) Jump on top of the tent below
3) Exit the game exactly when you reach the ground
Timing is important: you must quit to main menu the exact same moment you are touching the ground.
Before jumping, change the menu to Quit.
And use Esc – Space – Space (on PC).
You will hear a crunch when quitting the game to main menu, if you timed it right.
If you did, the game puts you on top of the tent, when you log back in.
Congratulations! You’ve just bypassed fall damage entirely.
If you quit too early during the fall, the game puts you back on the bridge.
If you quit too late, you die.
4) Explore the area!
You now have access to the entire area! All the puzzles are there, also the resources.
You can now drop the bridge taking you to the elevators in Nameless Pass.
You can drop the stairs above the cavern exit.
And you can also activate the Whisper in the area.
