I run a dual-OS boot setup on my trustworthy ASUS VivoBook laptop.

AIMP | A music player I'm very happy with. Somewhat similar to Winamp but more modern. | ![]() |
FastStone ImageViewer | An image editor with an embedded file explorer. All the functions you'd expect out of an image editor are there. The best part? The interface. It's simple, focused on functionality. No flashing, ding-ing and ping-ing bells and whistles most modern apps come loaded with. | ![]() |
Media Player Classic | Main video player. | ![]() |
VLC | Alternative video player. Recognizes most video formats out of the box. | ![]() |

Web & Services
Brave – as a go-to browser
WhatsApp – communication with the loved ones
Canva – free image design.
Pixabay – for license free images.
Gaming
I used to be a gamer in my 20’s. But now there’s only one game I play, and that’s the spiritual successor of Diablo II’s:
Path Of Exile hack and slash action RPG
Awakened PoE Trade shows item prices in Path Of Exile
Path Of Building (Community) allows you to plan your build in Path Of Exile or import other players’ builds so you can learn from them.
Android
File Manager+ – a very capable and very simple file manager. Can turn into a FTP server I can log into to get the files from my phone
Notepad – simple notes – for taking notes on the go; has very few features, exactly what I need from a notes-taking app
RecForge II – the reason I love this app is that it supports my Blue Yeti microphone via OTG; I can plug in my Blue Yeti microphone and record voiceovers on my Lenovo Tab 8. When using a tablet, there’s no background noise to remove. Laptops have fans, PC’s have fans when using a tablet. The recording quality is excellent and it helps my voiceover business.
Fedora 40
